FYI, the socom lipo 7.4v doesn't give more power than the 9.6v nimh. I checked the rate of fire with KWA M4 and CA M4, both are outputting at 15 bps, On the other hand the 4200 9.6v nimh battery, it deliver 23 to 28 bps.

I would ask Frank 2 see what's going on with that. Did you get the battery that fits in the buffer tube?

thats seems about right, a 7.4v should perform like a 8.4v nimh battery. Read the info on lipo batteris, he gives a pretty good explanation. There is 4 parts total. infectedairsoft.wordpress.com/tech-info/

Did you get the battery that fits in the buffer tube? herb got the same batt like techk did.....it should fit in the buffer tube. my 11.1 version did .....if herb is concern about increasing his ROF....then this is not the batt for him. this should do what he want to achieve.....lighten the wieght of his rifle, and have a longer lasting batt for "milsim" type of play

I think the reason that lipo is underperformed by your 9.6v 4200mah is because the output rate on it is not that high. so that lipo out put is like a good 8.4v

yup....yup.... the socom lipo 7.4 1000mah output is 10c so it is not gonna give that "PUNCH" you would expect. now on the lipos out there.....the evike's matrix that i have also .....serves up a whopping output of 20c now that is gonna give you the "PUNCH" you are expecting. i personally think matrix took a RC lipo, slapped a a "airsoft" tag on it and made a killing in the airsoft market! it is too bad that matrix doesn't have the round lipo. oh well. stick with the socom lipo.....safe formulation ;D

just don't do anything to damage the battery and it won't explode, similar things happen to the nicad and nimh battery also

I came from the service industry and I am very pleased with the GI service, they are very good of what they do. Actually they let me exchange to 11.1v if I want, but after talking to Sal I would just stay at 7.4v, because of the wear and tear factors.
15 bbs per second is not bad, I don't spary and pray. This game is milsim, stick with it!
My KWA is completely reborn. I can't wait till Sunday to play.

actually it does not matter if you went with a 11.1v because it is not the battery that causes wear and tear, its up to your internals. If your internal is 100% everything mesh well then you would be fine, the only thing that might go is the piston and that is due to the gears and the teeth of the piston did not mesh smoothly.
btw I got the interview at GI tomorrow lol

Good luck with the interview, stick with good customer service and work place safety for the answer, taking care of the customer will always win out. This principle will take you beyond management
