Review- KSC Glock 19
FPS: 330-340 with high flow and green gas
Pistols for me fall into a couple of categories. There are the ones you own for accuracy, the ones you collect, the ones you think are just plain cool and the ones you own, because you know they will work when you need them. In airsoft, a pistol in most situations is just a piece of tacticool gear that you load up, then discharge at the end of the game because you don’t end up using it. However, I in multiple instances have had my primary weapon go down in a firefight, and had to call on my 19 to get me safely out of it.
Now this weapon isn’t one that people will comment on the field about how awesome it looks, how awesome it sounds, or how jealous they are that you own it.
The reason you buy the KSC Glock 19 is definitely the last of the reasons listed above. You know it will work when you need it.
This thing is a workhorse. I have owned my for 4 years, played in countless games, dropped in the dirt, sand, mud, and onto cement, and fired the gun after all of this in stressed situations with no malfunctions. I once dropped it with the slide open, bending the release lever and locking up the gun, back at the shop we bent it back into shape and the gun works perfectly.
Accuracy on this short frame Glock is Good to about 25 feet, but beyond that it becomes hit and miss, with the emphasis on the miss.
This is for you if you want a gun:
That is simple to use and maintain.
That will work when you need it.
That is extremely durable.
That is light to carry.
It is not incredibly accurate, it is not hugely customizable and it does not appear to be Gucci. But for those people who know what it is, they know you are carrying one of the best constructed most reliable pistols they make for the game.
